Health performance data visualized for clarity — translating dense primary healthcare metrics into a format decision-makers could act on.

Deliverables ranged from high-profile digital pitches to printed materials for G7 and UHC conferences — each tailored to the infrastructure and context of its audience.

Three years of iterative design work — refining the visual language of complex health data into clear, credible communication for global policy audiences.

Global Health Policy Data-Driven Advocacy & Impact

Client: World Bank

Role: Project & Design Lead

Collaborators: Researchers, Data Analysts, and Stakeholder Constituents from WHO, UNICEF, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Objective

The World Bank needed to close a persistent gap between complex health performance data and the people responsible for acting on it — including delegates at G7 and UHC conferences. I led the information design effort over three years, turning dense datasets into clear visual narratives that could influence policy and funding decisions at the highest levels.

The Design Process & Delivery

Over the course of three years, I led design efforts to address recurring communication gaps between performance measurement teams and high-level leadership.

  • Narrative Synthesis: I collaborated with analysts to synthesize complex datasets into clear visual narratives, managing the integration of information design directly into the data reporting lifecycle so insights were both technically sound and visually compelling.

  • Adaptability for Global Constraints: I led the development of a diverse range of deliverables, from high-profile digital pitches to printed booklets for the G7 and Universal Health Coverage (UHC) conferences, tailoring the format to the technical infrastructure of the target regions.

Outcome

The design-driven outcomes empowered World Bank delegates to directly influence global policy and funding. By elevating the clarity of performance reporting, we enhanced the understanding of complex health data for leaders at the highest levels of international government. This project established my approach to designing for high-stakes, data-dense communication environments — a foundation that directly informs my product design work today.
